I was Born 15th Feb 1981 and grew up on farms riding motor bikes and playing all sort of sports as a kid. I competed in my first cycling event at age 12, 160km around lake Taupo along with 2500 other riders (now over 10,000 riders take part in this event) and was hooked on Cycling from there on. I quickly discovered and fell in love with Mountain Biking and the amazing places it takes me, I have won 7 National titles and represented New Zealand 14 times including 7 World Championships and the Melbourne Commonwealth games in 2006.
